Dakota Collegiate is an 9 to 12 high school in Winnipeg, Canada with an enrollment of over 1200 students. Dakota offers Advanced Placement courses in several subject areas.

Dakota Collegiate opened in 1963 with 200 students and 2 teachers. In June 1964, there were 72 students in the first graduating class. Dakota began as an experimental team-teaching school and offered only University Entrance courses. Dakota now has over 1200 students, approximately 60 teachers, and offers over 120 courses. In 2006, it had a graduating class of 262 students. A number of alumni have received academic medals from the University of Manitoba and the University of Winnipeg. The Dakota Collegiate Lancers have earned 590 provincial sports titles since the school was founded. In 2010, Dakota Collegiate had its 50th Anniversary of the Varsity Girls Basketball Team.
The committees Dakota Collegiate has are: Student Council, Black and Gold Society, Yearbook, Youth in Philanthropy, Recycling Committee, Reach for the Top, Grad Committee, Musical Theatre, Cheerleading, Choir/Vocal Jazz, Concert Band/Jazz Band, Friends of Rachel, Aboriginal Committee and Gay Straight Alliance.
